KAMEG Agents make Drug Bust in Kankakee County

On Monday, December 24, 2018, at approximately 3:08 p.m., KAMEG Agents executed a search warrant at 481 North Cottage Avenue in Kankakee, Illinois. During the search, Agents seized approximately 719.7 grams of suspected cannabis and a loaded .22 caliber pistol. A resident, Johnta L. Adams, age 30, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and for criminal fortification. Matthew Bender, age 34, was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Both were transported to the Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Police responded to a business in the 700 block of W. Walnut in reference to a male subject begging for money at 11:2 pm.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Second at Oak at 11:56 pm. A verbal warning was given.

Police responded to a civil dispute in which one subject was telling people that another subject was deceased in the 500 block of N. 5th St. at 5:09 pm.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of E. Walnut at 12:49 am. Arrested during the investigation was Roberto Alvarado, 22, Watseka. He was charged with Battery and transported to the County Jail.

Police responded to a 911 hang-up in the 1400 block of E. Walnut at 8:17 am.

Police responded to a Trespass complaint in the 100 block of E. Oak at 9:11 am.

Police responded to a suicidal subject in the 800 block of W. Lafayette at 11:34 am.

Police responded to an accident in the 1200 block of E. Walnut at 11:46 am. According to reports a 2012 Kia operated by Matthew White, Watseka, exited a parking space and struck a 2016 Ford operated by Stephen Kuipers, Onarga. Damage was estimated at over $1500.00 and no citations or injuries were reported.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of N. 4th St. at 11:55 am.

Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of E. Walnut at 12:09 pm. Arrested during the stop was Thomas Valle, 39, Milford, for Driving while License Revoked. He was transported to the County Jail.

 

Police arrested Shai Arseneau, 22, Watseka, at 1:07 pm in the area of 4th and Ash after an officer reconized her and knew her to have an outstanding Kankakee County Warrant. She was transported to the County Jail.

Police responded to an animal complaint in the area of E. Oak St. at 4:21 pm.

Police responded to a Child custody dispute in the 400 block of N. 4th St. at 5:49 pm.

Police responded to a civil dispute in the 30 block of N. 5th St. at 8:30pm.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of N. 4th St. at 9:18 pm. Arrested during the investigation was Catrina Walker, 38, Watseka, for Disorderly Conduct. She was transported to the County Jail.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of N. 6th St. at 1:28 am.

Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Grant and Walnut at 4:49 am. Cited during the stop was Tyson Gass, Watseka, for Driving While License Suspended. He posted bond and was released.

Police responded to a suspicious person in the 200 block of S. 4th St. at 7:36 am.

Police responded to a business in the 500 block of E. Walnut at 8:50 am in reference to a subject attempting to enter a vehicle. On arrival Police located James Musselman, 32, Watseka.

Police had already taken a Trespass complaint against Musselmann earlier in the day.

Musselman was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass and transported to the County Jail.

Police responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter at 11:46 am. Arrested was Katina Martell, 37, Watseka, for Retail Theft. She was taken to the County Jail.

Police responded to an accident in a parking lot in the 400 block of W. Walnut at 2:39 pm. According to reports a 2003 Buick operated by Zola Willhelm, Watseka, back from a parking space and struck a 2010 Chrysler owned by Amy Walton, Milford. Damage was estimated at $1500.00 and no citations or injuries reported.

Police conducted a traffic stop at Oak/ 6th St. at 11:17 pm. A verbal Warning was given.

Police responded to a civil dispute in the 300 block of W. Park at 12:42 am.

Watseka Police arrested Alice M Richmond, 50 Watseka in the 300 block of W Victory at 3:51 P.M. on 12-18-18. Richmond was charged with battery and was transported to the Iroquois County jail.

Watseka Police responded to a report of theft in the 1700 block of E Walnut at 5:32 P.M. on 12-18-18.

 

Watseka Police responded to a report of attempted burglary in the 100 block of E Oak at 6:28 P.M. on 12-18-18.

Watseka Police investigated a two-vehicle accident in the 1500 block of E Walnut at 6:40 P.M. on 12-18-18. According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by Jeanne M McManaway, 49 Martinton was in line at Steak N Shake when she backed up striking a vehicle driven by Michelle L Holloway, 45 Sheldon. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. Damage was estimated at under $1,500.

Iroquois County Sheriff's Police 12/18/18

On December 14th, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police returned from Will County with David Blair, age 39, of Gilman. Accordjng to police reports, Blair was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance, He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond,

On December 15th, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police returned from Louisville Kyj with Danielle K. Kiser, age 31 of Louisville Ky. According to police reports, Kiser was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging her with Burglary and theft. She was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where she posted the required bond and was released.

 

 
 


 
  On December 16th, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Rogelio Garcia, age 25, of Watseka. According to police reports, Garcia was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jai! where he posted the required bond and was released.


On December 17th , 2018, Clifton Police arrested Brian Bellamy, age 34, of Matteson, Accordjng to police reports, Bellamy was wanted on an outstanding McDonough County warrant charging him with failure to appear for manufacture and delivery of cannabis. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he awaits extradition back to McDonough County.

ISP WEEKEND ARRESTS

 Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 is reporting the arrest Anthony D. Lawrence, 46, of Kankakee; Randy R. Barwegen, 58, of Sheldon; Luke L. Akerman, 26, of Momence; Tena L. Stipp, 46, of Kankakee; and Himanshu N. Patel, 40, of Edwardsville all for Driving Under the Influence. 
 
On December 14, 2018 at approximately 12:36 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on I-57 southbound at milepost 312 in Kankakee County.  The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with the driver, Anthony Lawrence.  Lawrence showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Lawrence was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Lawrence was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and illegal transportation of alcohol. 
 
On December 15, 2018 at approximately 12:16 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to single vehicle crash on Route 52 at 1700E Road in Iroquois County.  The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with the driver, Randy Barwegen.  Barwegen showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Barwegen was placed under arrest and transported to the Iroquois County Jail for processing.  Barwegen was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. 
 
On November 15, 2018 at approximately 12:03 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and swerving all over the roadway on Route 17 at Heiland Road.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Luke Akerman.  Akerman showed signs of alcohol impairment.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed cocaine.  Akerman was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Akerman was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Akerman was also issued citations for speeding, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, and expired driver’s license.   

 On December 16, 2018 at approximately 2:20 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit on Hobbie Ave. at Brookmont Blvd. in Kankakee.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Tena Stipp.  Stipp showed signs of alcohol impairment.  A subsequent search of Stipp revealed cocaine.  Stipp was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Stipp was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Possession of a Controlled Substance.   
 
On December 16, 2018 at approximately 12:26 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a reckless driver on I-57 northbound at miles post 287 in Iroquois County.  The trooper located and stopped the vehicle on I-57 northbound at milepost 294.  The trooper spoke with the driver, Himanshu Patel.  Patel showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Patel was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Patel was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for improper parking on the roadway and illegal transportation of alcohol.   
 
 Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 is reporting the arrest of Debraun L. Lewis-Mayo, 21, of Jackson, TN for Credit Card Fraud; Justin R. Davidson, 30, of Kankakee for DUI; Scotty L. Willis, 44, of Kankakee for DUI; Miguel Guadarrama Jr., 26, of Kankakee for DUI; Anfernee J. Kelly, 20, of Urbana for Possession of Cannabis more than 30 Grams; Reginald C. Jarrett, 43, of Momence for Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer; Pete E. Rogers, 26, of Champaign for DUI; Arthur L. Hudson, 47, of Milwaukee, WI for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon; and Patrick J. Mulligan, 43, of Ashkum for Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer. 
 
On December 6, 2018 at approximately 9:46 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed on I57.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the occupants.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed counterfeit credit cards and equipment.  The passenger, Debraun Lewis-Mayo was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Lewis-Mayo was charged with Possession of Counterfeit Credit Cards and Possession of Counterfeit Equipment. 
 
On December 8, 2018 at approximately 12:45 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  A trooper observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and traveling all over the roadway on Route 50 at Mulligan Drive.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Justin Davidson.  Davidson showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Davidson was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Davidson was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for speeding, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. 
 
On December 8, 2018 at approximately 2:39 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on I-57 northbound at milepost 322 in Kankakee County.  The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with the driver, Scotty Willis.  Willis showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Willis was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Willis was charged with Driving Under the 
Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.   
 
On December 8, 2018 at approximately 4:45 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a multiple vehicle crash on I-57 southbound at milepost 321 in Kankakee County.  The drivers of both vehicles were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with injuries.  The trooper arrived at the hospital and spoke with Miguel Guadarrama Jr.  Guadarrama showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Gudarrama was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.   
 
On December 8, 2018 at approximately 5:37 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Iroquois County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on I-57 southbound at milepost 299.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Anfernee Kelly.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed 92 grams of cannabis.  Kelly was placed under arrest and transported to the Iroquois County Jail for processing.  Kelly was charged with Possession of Cannabis more than 30 Grams but less than 100 Gram of Cannabis.  Kelly was also issued a citation for speeding.   
 
On December 8, 2018 at approximately 6:09 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed (100 mph in a 55 mph zone) on Route 17 at 1500N Road.  The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle continued traveling at a high rate of speed and passing other vehicles.  The vehicle then failed to stop at the stop sign at Route 114 and Locust Street in Momence.  The vehicle, driven by Reginald Jarrett, struck another vehicle.  Jarrett was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Jarrett was charged with Fleeding and Eluding a Police Officer and issued citations for reckless driving, speeding, improper lane usage, disobeying a stop sign, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.   
 
On December 9, 2018 at approximately 2:34 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign on Schuyler Avenue at Court Street.  The trooper then observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and all over the roadway on Court Street.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Pete Rogers.  Rogers showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Rogers was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Rogers was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for speeding, improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device, operating and uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to notify the Secretary of State of address change.   
 
On December 9, 2018 at approximately 4:21 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling in the left lane on I-57 northbound at milepost 314.  The vehicle was not attempting to pass a vehicle in the right lane and never attempted to move into the right lane.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Arthur Hudson.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a firearm.  Hudson was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Hudson was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Forgery, and Obstructing Justice.  Hudson was also issued citations for unlawful use of driver’s license and driving while license suspended.   
 

 
 
 
 
One December 11, 2018 at approximately 10:58 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Iroquois County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed (116 mph in a 70 mph zone) on I-57 northbound at milepost 291.  The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle exited I-57 at the Ashkum exit and continued traveling at a high rate of speed.  It was later discovered that the driver of the vehicle was Patrick Mulligan.  One December 12, 2018, the trooper went to Mulligan’s residence where he was placed under arrest and transported to the Iroquois County Jail for processing.  Mulligan was charged with Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, Speeding 35+ mph Over the Speed Limit, and Driving While License Revoked. 
 
 

Watseka Police Department News 12/17/18

Watseka Police investigated a two-vehicle accident at 11:15 A.M. on 12-14-18 on W Walnut Street. According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by James W Pence, 82 Watseka was attempting to parallel park when he struck a vehicle belonging to Chance A Rasmussen, 20 St Anne. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. Damage was estimated at under $500.

Watseka Police responded to a report of a theft of a vehicle in the 400 block of W Walnut at 2:58 P.M. on 12-14-18.

Watseka Police responded to a report of a domestic in the 500 block of W Walnut at 3:31 P.M. on 12-14-18.

Watseka Police investigated a two-vehicle accident at 8:27 P.M. on 1214-18 in the 100 block of Belmont Ave. According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by Daniel E Chavarria, 35 Georgetown was attempting to turn when he struck a parked vehicle belonging to Darin O Tate, Hoopeston. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued. Damage was estimated at over $1,500.

Watseka Police arrested Elayna C Alexander, 19 Watseka on an Iroquois County warrant charging her with Forgery. Alexander was transported to the Iroquois County jail.

Watseka Police arrested Lucas J Seibring, 38 Watseka at 6:23 P.M. on 12-15-18. Seibring was charged with theft over $500 and criminal damage to property over $500. Seibring was transported to the Iroquois County jail.

Watseka Police Department News 12/13/18

Watseka Police conducted a short investigation at 11:10 A.M. on 12-12-18 that led to the arrest of a Sheldon man. Police were called to a local business at 10:38 A.M. after a report of a man that had come to the business and tried to pass a counterfeit Chinese $20 bill. Once the man was confronted he fled the business. Police were then called to another local business and were again told the man had tried to pass a counterfeit Chinese $20 before fleeing the business. Police then located the vehicle at another local business and then were able to make a traffic stop on the vehicle, and were able to locate the counterfeit Chinese $20 bill. Police later were contacted by an Indiana man who had accepted another counterfeit Chinese $20 bill from the man. James E Koch, 51 Sheldon was arrested and was charged with 3 counts of forgery. Koch was transported to the Iroquois County jail. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

Arrests

On December 8th , 2018, Joshua Sauberli, age 25, of Watseka, turned himself into the Iroquois County Jail to serve a one weekend sentence for driving under the influence.

On December 9th , 2018, Gilman Police arrested Scott A. Harrison, age 53, of Bourbonnais. According to police reports, Harrison was charged with driving while license revoked, illegal transportation of alcohol, and improper use of registration. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he posted the required bond and was released.

On December 9th , 2018, Iroquois County Sheriff's Police arrested Benjamin D. Gentry, age 22, of Gilman. According to police reports, Gentry was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond.

Accidents

On December 9th , 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a two vehicle accident in the 500 block of Prairie Lane in Cissna Park, According to police reports, a vehicle driven by Susan A. Walden age 72 of Cissna Park was turning left into a private drive. Walder was blinded by the sunlight and struck a vehicle driven by Elaine V. Edwards, age 75, of Cissna Park. Minor injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

On December 10th, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Co. Rd. 800 E. and 600 N. According to police reports, a vehicle driven by David R. Hanson, age 52, of Chebanse, was traveling north on 800 E. and failed to notice the jog in the road due to the dense fog. Hanson made a sharp left turn and the vehicle overtumed onto its side. Minor injuries

 

were reported and no citations were issued.

Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 is reporting the arrest of Kreyshawn M. Walls, 22, of Urbana for Possession of Cannabis more than 100 Grams; Donna L. Hedditch, 65, of Bourbonnais for DUI; and Ryan J. Gray, 33, of Kankakee for DUI.

On December 5, 2018 at approximately 4:07 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Iroquois County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on I-57 southbound at milepost 293.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Kreyshawn Walls.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed 171 grams of cannabis.  Walls was placed under arrest and transported to the Iroquois County Jail for processing.  Walls was charged with Possession of Cannabis more than 100 Grams but not more than 500 Grams. 
 
On December 5, 2018 at approximately 4:34 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a hit and run crash on Route 50 at 6000 N Road in Kankakee County.  A Bradley Police Officer located the at fault driver, Donna Hedditch.  The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with Hedditch.  Hedditch showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Hedditch was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Hedditch was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no valid driver’s license, and illegal transportation of alcohol. 
 
On December 6, 2018 at approximately 12:41 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling all over the roadway and fail to signal when changing lanes on Route 50 at Armour Road.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Ryan Gray.  Gray showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Gray was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Gray was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for improper lane usage and failure to signal when changing lanes.

Watseka Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 400 block of W Walnut at 7:52 A.M. on 12-06-18, According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by Blanca Cruz-Jimenez, 18 Watseka was Eastbound on Rt 24 when she began breaking for stopped traffic but was unable to stop, striking a vehicle driven by Danielle M Weilert, 31 Taylorville, Damage was estimated at under $1,500. Weilert was transported to IMH for non-life threatening injuries. No citations were issued.

Damage was estimated at over $1,500. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

ISP Arrests DUI Arrests

Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 is reporting the arrest Jamario D. Brown, 22, of Park Forest for Possession of Cannabis more than 500 grams; Jeffrey M. Read, 39, of Piper City for DUI; Justin M. Peterson, 38, of Kankakee for DUI; Trinidad Gaytan-Almanza, 35, of Kankakee for DUI; Corey S. Blackmon-Williams, 18, of Chicago for Forgery; Stanjamal D. Bobo, 29, of Pembroke Township for DUI; and Lavelle D. Franklin, 37, of Kankakee for DUI. 
 
On November 28, 2018 at approximately 5:17 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle with no tail lights activated and speeding on I-57 southbound at milepost 304.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Jamario Brown.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed 603.9 grams of cannabis.  Brown was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Brown was charged with Possession of Cannabis more than 500 Grams but not more than 2,000 Grams and Manufacture/Delivery of Cannabis more than 500 Grams but not more than 2,000 Grams.  Brown was also issued citations for speeding and improper lighting.   
 
On November 28, 2018 at approximately 10:10 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Route 45 at 1600N in Iroquois County.  The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with the driver, Jeffrey Read.  Read showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Read was transported to Iroquois Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained from the crash.  Read was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and improper lane usage. 
 
On November 29, 2018 at approximately 1:43 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a hit and run crash on Route 17 at 500N in Kankakee County.  A Kankakee County Deputy located the at fault driver, Justin Peterson.  The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with Peterson.  Peterson showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Peterson was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Peterson was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol 
and issued citations for leaving the scene of a crash, no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving with expired license plates. 
 
On November 29, 2018 at approximately 9:50 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 17 at 5500E Road.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Trinidad Gaytan-Almanza.  Gaytan-Almanza showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Gaytan-Almanza was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Gaytan-Almanza was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. 
 
On December 1, 2018 at approximately 4:26 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to the Love’s Truck Stop on Route 45/52 in Kankakee for a report of credit card fraud.  The trooper arrived and spoke with the suspect, Corey Blackmon-Williams.  The trooper was advised that Blackmon-Williams attempted to use a fraudulent credit card to pay for a tow bill.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed two fraudulent checks and a fraudulent driver’s license.  Blackmon-Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Blackmon-Williams was charged with Forgery, Credit Card Fraud, and Possession of a Fraudulent Driver’s License.   
 
On December 1, 2018 at approximately 11:40 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper witnessed a vehicle drive off the roadway and into the ditch on 1300 E at 1750 S Road in Kankakee County.  The vehicle then drove out of the ditch and was traveling at a high rate of speed.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Stanjamal Bobo.  Bobo showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Bobo was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Bobo was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and failure to carry driver’s license on person while operating a motor vehicle. 
 
On December 2, 2018 at approximately 12:39 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of I-57 at mile post 314.  The trooper approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Lavelle Franklin.  Franklin showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Franklin was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Franklin was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol.

On December 4th , 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co.

Rd. 200 N, near Co. Rd, 170 E. According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by Lisa Lewis, age 34, of Champaign, IL, was traveling westbound on Co- Rd- 200 N. when it slide out of control on the ice covered roadway and struck some guardrail. The vehicle sustained over $1500 in damages. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

On December 5th, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co.

Rd. 2200 E. near Co, Rd. 2200 N. According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by Debbie J. Caisel age 55, of St. Anne, IL. was traveling southbound on Co. Rd. 2200 E. when she lost control on the ice/snow covered roadway causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and roll. The vehicle then struck at tree before coming to rest on the driver's side of the vehicle. The vehicle sustained over $1500 in damages, Caise was transported to Riverside for treatment and no citations were issued.

On December 5th , 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co, Rd. 2200 E. near Co. Rd. 2000 N. According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by Christal L. Hubbard, age 29, of St. Anne, IL. was traveling southbound on Co. Rd. 2200 E. when she lost control on the ice/snow covered roadway causing the vehicle to enter the ditch striking the embankment, The vehicle then struck several small trees before coming to rest. The vehicle sustained over $1500 in damages. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Rd. 2200 E. when he lost control on the ice/snow covered roadway causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and strike the embankment. The vehicle sustained over $1500 in damages, Martell was transported to IMH for treatment and no citations were issued.

On December 5th, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police returned from Kankakee County Jail with Amanda Collins, age 35, of Clifton, IL. According to Police reports, Collins was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging her with other amount schedule Ill, Collins remains in Iroquois County Jail in lieu of bond.

Walters was charged with Residential burglary, Possession of methamphetamine and Brining contraband into a penal institution, Walters was transported to the Iroquois County jail,
