The Iroquois County Sheriff's Police were called to 315 W. Main street in Sheldon Monday 8/5/19 @ 4:13pm for a disturbance.

One deputy arrived on scene and invesigated the distrubance speaking with several residents of the area. Sheldon Police arrived and made contact with 49 year old Arthur Jensen who lives at 315 W Main street Sheldon. 

A 17 year old deceased female was found in the home. Jensen was taken into custody and charged with Homicide and First Degree Murder. Jensen will be held at the Iroquois County jail pending court.
