Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 is reporting the arrest of Paris L. Myhand, 37, of Kankakee; Kolton R. Koch, 23, of Clifton; Tyler O. Smith, 25, of Manteno; Dragan D. Suznjevic, 27, of Kankakee; and Marcquita P. Williams, 29, of Bourbonnais all for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
On May 26, 2018 at approximately 2:30 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County. The trooper observed a vehicle swerving all over the roadway and fail to signal when changing lanes on Court Street at Fairmont in Kankakee. The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Paris Myhand. Myhand showed signs of alcohol impairment. Myhand was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing. Myhand was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While License Revoked. Myhand was also issued citations for improper lane usage, failure to signal when required, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
On May 27, 2018 at approximately 2:04 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County. The trooper observed a vehicle swerving all over the roadway and speeding on Schuyler Avenue at South Tech Drive in Kankakee. The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Kolton Koch. Koch showed signs of alcohol impairment. Koch was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing. Koch was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for improper lane usage, speeding, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
On May 27, 2018 at approximately 11:16 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County. The trooper was traveling southbound on Route 45/52 at 10000N Road when another vehicle traveling northbound swerved into the trooper’s lane almost hitting the trooper’s vehicle. The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Tyler Smith. Smith showed signs of alcohol impairment. Smith was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing. Smith was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, and disobeying a traffic control device.
On May 28, 2018 at approximately 6:36 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to crash on Route 17 at 7000 W Road in Kankakee County. Due to injuries sustained from the crash the driver, Dragan Suznjevic, was transported to Riverside Hospital. The trooper arrived at the hospital and spoke with Suznjevic. Suznjevic showed signs of alcohol impairment. Suznjevic was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Suznjevic was also issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, disobeying a traffic control device, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of cannabis under 30 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On May 29, 2018 at approximately 12:29 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in
Kankakee County. The trooper observed a vehicle traveling all over the roadway on I57 southbound at milepost 308. The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Marcquita Williams. Williams showed signs of alcohol impairment. Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing. Williams was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While License Revoked, and Obstructing Identification. Williams was also issued citations for improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
