Russell L. Howe, 74, of Paxton passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Arcadia Care in Clifton. He was born on November 17, 1949 in Watseka, a son of Robert E. and Marjorie (Daughtry) Howe Sr. and they preceded him in death.

 

He is survived by one daughter, Niki (Brian) Behrends of Clifton; four grandchildren, Kayla McCullough (Turner Ruechel) of Oswego, Allison (Devon) Guerrettaz of Watson, Dallas Behrends of Clifton and Autumn Behrends of Clifton; two brothers, Robert (Donna) Howe Jr. of Watseka and Ronald (Jackie) Howe of Hoopeston; two sisters, Diana Mason of Beloit, WI and Kimberly (Steve) Pickle of Clinton, MS.

 

Russell was a member of Paxton Church of Christ. His hobbies included painting, bowling and woodworking. He was a racing fan and loved collecting racing memorabilia. Russell also enjoyed tinkering with cars.

 

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton with Pastor Mat Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.

 

Memorials may be given to the family’s wishes.
