Mark Allen Daniel, 65, of Iroquois passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Mark was born on April 21, 1958 in Watseka, the son of Robert Clayton and Margaret (Taylor) Daniel. He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew, Kristopher Daniel.

Mark is survived by his mother, Margaret Daniel of Iroquois; one brother, Michael K. (Susan) Daniel of Iroquois; three nieces, Kim (Tyler) Nimz of Watseka, Karlene Daniel of Newman, and Kate (Paul) Capell of Indiana; a special friend, Dawn Daniel of Danforth; six great nieces and nephews, Lukeah Benoit, Rebecca Benoit, Taylor Daniel, Kendrick Capell, Maggie Capell, and Emma Capell.

Mark loved his 1968 Chevelle and his 1987 Semi. He enjoyed playing the Powerball, scratch off lottery tickets, spending time at the Iroquois Cafe, and watching and attending car shows. Mark loved time spent with his mother, brother, nieces, and great nieces and nephews. He also loved his animals, especially his dog, Duke.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka with Rev. Kevin Nourie officiating. Burial will follow at Morris Chapel near Iroquois.
