Mary H. Tincher, 83, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. She was born on October 27, 1939 in Sheldon, a daughter of Hershel and Eunice (Houser) Baker. Mary married Robert E. Tincher on September 6, 1957 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2022.

 

Mary is survived by her four sons, Robert L. (Colleen) Tincher of Watseka, David (Sharon) Tincher of Watseka, Daniel (Rita) Tincher of Watseka, and Marvin (Lori) Tincher of Milford; one sister, Donna (Richard) Smith of Watseka; five grandchildren, Michelle Atwood, Nicholas Tincher, Samantha Brassard, Ashley Schill, and Amber Tincher; and eleven great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; one brother, Clifford Baker; one sister, Shelby Conley; and two grandchildren, Josh Tincher and Andrew Tincher.

 

Mary was a member of the Centennial Christian Church in Watseka. She loved quilting and playing euchre. Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral with Joe Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.

 

Memorials may be given to the Centennial Christian Church in Watseka, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
