Cora Marie Mallon, 89, of Watseka Illinois, lost her battle with Multiple Myeloma on Friday, January 12, 2024. She was surrounded by the love of her family at her home.

Cora was born in Watseka, Illinois on June 1, 1934, the daughter of Clarence E. and Margaret M. (Stockert) Norder. She married Merlyn Mallon, the love of her life, on June 4, 1955 in Watseka. Cora enjoyed her grandchildren, helping others, baking and fellowship with her church group.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two brothers, one sister, her husband, three children, Michael (Nancy), Twila, and Tammy (Steven), eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka with Pastor Jerry Parker officiating. Lunch will follow at Cornerstone Church in Woodland, IL.

Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice in Watseka and or Cornerstone Church Woodland. IL.
