Marlene K. Reutter, 66, of Onarga passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Iroquois Memorial Hospital Residence Home. She was born on March 15, 1957, a daughter of Orval and Edna (Schumacher) Munsterman. Marlene married Glenn Reutter II on October 9, 1976 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Ash Grove and he survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Lindsey LaReau of West Hollywood, California; two sons, Lance Reutter of Indianapolis, Indiana and Landon (Megan) Reutter of Watseka; four grandchildren; one sister, Sandi (Don) Thompson of Cissna Park; twin brother, Marlen Munsterman of Cissna Park; one sister-in-law, Debra Munsterman of Cissna Park; her beloved dog, Scooter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Orlen Munsterman; and one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Reutter.

Marlene was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Ash Grove, where she served as church organist for many years. She was a secretary at Iroquois Memorial Hospital for 30 years. Marlene truly enjoyed helping other people.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Ash Grove with Rev. Dale Fjordbotten officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery at Ash Grove.

Memorials may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church at Ash Grove, St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Woodworth, or Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
