ohn W. Farris, 58, of Sheldon passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. He was born November 26, 1959 in Watseka and was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Rose Marie (Walker) and Wayne Farris.

He married Teri Vaughn on January 22, 1983 in Watseka and she survives in Sheldon. Also surviving are two daughters, Ashley Farris of Fowler, IN and Judi Farris of Sheldon; one son, Jonathan Farris of Logansport, IN; one brother, Dave Farris of Watseka; two sisters, Sherry Farris and Donna Farris both of Watseka; and one granddaughter, Maria Provo of Sheldon.

Mr. Farris was a supervisor at Huber Inc. in Kankakee. He loved golfing, fishing, camping and baseball, especially the White Sox.

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 pm on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon.
