On July 1 8th, 2026, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Avery L. Durflinger Jr., age 44, of Watseka. According to police reports, deputies were called to a business in Cissna Park in reference to a theft that had just occurred. Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle in rural Watseka, which was driven by Durflinger. Durflinger was taken into custody and charged with theft under $500. Durflinger was transported to the Iroquois County Jail and was later released on a notice to appear.
On July 18th, 2026, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Tamie R. Burnside, age 45, of Sheldon. According to police reports, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Burnside for traffic violations. Burnside was taken into custody and charged with driving while license suspended. Burnside was transported to the Iroquois County Jail, where she was later released on a notice to appear.
On July 19 th, 2026, Iroquois County Sheriff's Police arrested Norrnan J. Whitten, age 42, of Crescent City. According to police reports, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Whitten for traffic violations. Deputies learned that Whitten was wanted on a Kankakee County warrant, charging him with aggravated speeding and driving while license suspended. Whitten was taken into custody and was transported to the Iroquois County Jail, where he was later released on a notice to appear.
On July 19th, 2026, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Elizabeth K. King, age 40, of Philo IL. According to police reports, King was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant, charging her with possession of a controlled substance. King was being held at the Champaign County Jail. King was taken into custody and transported to the Iroquois County Jail, where she was later released on a notice to appear.
On July 20th, 2026, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Myron E. Phillips, age 41, of Danville. According to police reports, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Phillips in rural Ashkum for traffic violations. Phillips was taken into custody and charged with driving while license revoked. Phillips was transported to the Iroquois County Jail, where he was later released on a notice to appear.
On July 22nd, 2026, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Timothy R. Anderson, age 38, of Watseka. According to police reports, Anderson was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant, charging him with theft between $500 and $10,000. Anderson was being held at the Kankakee County Jail. Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the Iroquois County Jail, where he was later released on a notice to appear.
On July 23rd, 2026, David L. Baker, age 44, of Watseka, turned himself in to the Iroquois County Jail. Baker was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant, charging him with an aggravated battery to police. Baker was later released on time served.
On July 24 1h, 2026, the Milford Polie Department arrested Dennis E. Baker, age 45, of Milford. According to police reports, Baker was wanted on a Vermillion County warrant, charging him with possession of methamphetamine. Officers took Baker into custody and transported him to the Iroquois County Jail, where he remains, awaiting extradition back to Vermillion.
On July 24th, 2026, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Tyrone J. Hill, age 37, of Gilman. According to police reports, Hill was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant, charging him with an aggravated DUI. Hill was being held at the Kankakee County Jail. Hill was taken into custody and transported to the Iroquois County Jail, where he remains, awaiting his next court date.
