On Nov. 10, at 11:24 p.m., the Watseka Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of W Oak Street for a reported theft of a bicycle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who stated that the suspect had returned the bicycle. The victim further reported that the suspect bragged about being stopped by the Watseka Police Department the previous week and provided officers with his brother’s name during that encounter. Officers relocated to the 500 block of N 5th Street and made contact with the suspect, who admitted to lying to the officer. Jeremia R. Albright, 27, of Watseka, was arrested for obstructing identification. Jeremia was also issued a state citation for driving with a revoked driver’s license. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail without incident.

On Nov. 14, at 6:29 p.m., the Watseka Police Department conducted a warrant check in the 200 block of W Walnut Street. Austin Archer, 32 of Watseka, was arrested on an outstanding Kankakee County warrant. Austin was transported to the Iroquois County Jail without incident.
