On August 19th, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Marcal Smith, age 30, of Watseka. According to police reports, Smith was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging him with driving while license suspended. Smith was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was released with a notice to appear.
