On August 6th, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Terry L. Gardner, age 58, of Milford. According to police reports, Gardner was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear.
On August 6th, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Branden Harrison, age 40, of Rensselaer along with William Merrill Jr. age 40, of Indianapolis. According to police reports, Harrison and Merrill were stopped by deputies for operating a 2003 Jaguar with expired registration plates. During the investigation, contraband, believed to be methamphetamine was located on Merrill Jr's person who was the driver of the vehicle and held a suspended driver's license. The discovery of the suspected methamphetamine led to a probable cause search of the vehicle. During the search, deputies discovered additional suspected methamphetamine in both the vehicle and on Harrison's person when he was later searched incident to arrest. The total amount of suspected methamphetamine discovered was approximately 53 grams. In addition, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, along with a set of brass knuckles were also located in the vehicle. Harrison and Merrill Jr. were placed into custody and taken to the Iroquois County Jail where they were charged with manufacture and delivery of methamphetamine 15 to 100 grams, possession of methamphetamine 15 to 100 grams, possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams, and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Merrill Jr. was also charged with driving while license suspended. Both subjects were released with a notice to appear.
On August 6th, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Marcel T. Betts, age 45, of Milford. According to police reports, Betts was charged with aggravated domestic battery. Betts was taken to the Iroquois County Jail where he was released with a notice to appear.
