On July 31st, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Gregory Lewis, age 43, of North Aurora. According to police reports, deputies were dispatched to locate a missing person.
Deputies found Lewis who was reported missing the day prior. A computer check revealed Lewis to have an outstanding Scott County Indiana warrant for child neglect. Lewis was taken into custody and transported to the Iroquois County Jail. He was later released due to the charges being dropped.
On August 1st, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriff's Police arrested Michelle Dee, age 49, of Gilman. According to police reports, Dee was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging her with burglary and retail theft over $300. Deputies made contact with Dee, and she was taken into custody. Dee was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where she was later released with a notice to appear.
On August 3rd, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Alan Edwards Jr., age 51, of Loda. According to police reports, deputies responded to the report of a domestic battery that had occurred. Through the course of their investigation, deputies found Edwards, the suspect, to have left the scene. Deputies made contact with Edwards the next day. Edwards was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear.
On August 4th , 2025, Landon Young, age 20, of Claytonville, turned himself into the Iroquois County Jail. Young is the suspect in a police report, where he is charged with burglary to a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property over $500. Young was later released with a notice to appear.
On August 4th, 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Marta Jackson, age 49, of Gilman. According to police reports, deputies were dispatched to the report of an aggravated battery. On scene, deputies found the victim with multiple injuries. Through the course of their investigation, Jackson was found to be the suspect and was later located. Jackson was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery. Jackson was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear.
