On Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025 at approximately 10:59am, Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US-41 and SR-14.

Preliminary investigation shows a grey Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 71yo Indiana male, traveling north on US-41, through the intersection of SR-14.   A black Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 46yo Illinois male, traveling west on SR-14, entered the intersection, failed to yield, colliding with the grey Chevrolet Silverado.

Northbound and westbound lanes were closed for 45 minutes due to cleanup and removal

The driver of the black Chevrolet (westbound) was transported to an area hospital for further medical attention.
