On July 11th , 2025, Iroquois County Sheriff's Police arrested Skylar Cannon, age 33, of Hoopeston. According to police reports, deputies were dispatched to Loda for a disturbance. Over the course of several associated calls for service, contact with Cannon was made, and a vehicle was located. Witnesses told deputies they saw Cannon driving the vehicle. A computer check revealed the vehicle to be stolen. Cannon was taken into custody and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. Cannon was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear.
On July 1 1 th , 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Joseph Burke, age 19, of Onarga. According to police reports, deputies were requested by paramedics in Onarga. On scene, deputies learned that Burke had attacked a paramedic while the paramedic was assisting someone else. Burke was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery to a medical worker. Burke was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear.
On July I I th , 2025, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Tabitha Stevens, age 36, of Danville. According to police reports, Stevens was being held at the Champaign County Jail on the outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging her with retail theft. Stevens was taken into custody and transported to the Iroquois County Jail. She was later released with a notice to appear.
On July 12, 2025, Milford Police Department arrested Joshua Delong, age 49, of Danville.
According to police reports, Milford Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Delong for traffic violations. Milford Police conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests on Delong, who showed signs of impairment. Delong was taken into custody and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and no rear registration plate light. Delong was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear
