Police conducted a traffic stop at N Kay Street/W Hickory Street at 8:28 am. Mowrey, Stephen M., 31 of Watseka was arrested for an outstanding Kankakee County Warrant, driving while License Suspended and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. Mowrey was transported to jail without incident.

Police were called to the 400 block of W Walnut Street for a traffic accident at 6:23 pm. According to reports a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu owned by Rogers, Taylor, of Watseka was parked and unoccupied when it was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene. Damage was estimated at over $1500, and no injuries were reported.

On December 4, Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police arrested Delmar R. Owens, age 53, of Cissna Park. According to police reports, Owens was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging him with official misconduct. Owens was taken into custody by sheriff’s deputies and transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he was released with a notice to appear.
