KANKAKEE AREA METROPOLITAN ENFORCEMENT GROUP AGENTS MAKE COCAINE AND METH ARREST

 - On Thursday, November 17, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group (KAMEG) Agents, assisted by the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force and Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office, arrested 32-year-old Armando Huesca-Navarro of Kankakee, IL, following a search warrant at his residence in the 1100 block of E. Maple Street, Kankakee, in conjunction with an ongoing narcotics investigation. The search warrant execution resulted in the seizure of one loaded handgun, nearly 250 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, more than 60 grams of suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and United States Currency. Huesca-Navarro has been initially charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver within 500 feet of a Park, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (15- 100g) with Intent to Deliver within 500 feet of a Park, Possession of a Weapon/No FOID, and Possession of Ammunition/No FOID. Huesca-Navarro was transported to and detained at the Jerome Combs Detention Center (Kankakee County). KAMEG is comprised of personnel from the Illinois State Police, Bradley Police Department, Bourbonnais Police Department, Kankakee Police Department, Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department, and the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office.
