Iroquois County Sheriff's Police news 1/31/2022

 Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police investigated a single-vehicle fire Friday on Rt. 1, approximately one -eighth mile north of County Road 350 N. According to police reports, the vehicle, driven by Paul A. Ross Jr., of Bradley, was southbound when, for an unknown reason, caught on fire. None of the occupants were injured. The vehicle sustained more than $1,500 in damage. Wellington Fire and Milford EMS also responded and assisted with the scene.

 

Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police investigated a single-vehicle accident Saturday on S. West Ave. near Dewey St. in Woodland. Police said a vehicle driven by Dalton J. Trumann, 17, of rural Milford was westbound when he lost control on the snow/ice covered road. The vehicle entered a yard on the west side of the road, striking a power pole and breaking it in half. There was more than $1,500 damage to the vehicle and the private property. No injuries were reported and no tickets were issued.
