Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police arrested Steven L. Rowell Jr., 49, of Milford on Monday. According to police reports, Rowell was taken into custody on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving under the influence of a breath alcohol concentration over .08. An investigation showed Rowell was eastbound on County Road 800 North near 2190 East when his vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch, where a passenger was ejected from the vehicle. The unidentified passenger was taken to Iroquois Memorial Hospital, Watseka, for minor injuries. Rowell was taken to the Iroquois County Jail and was released on bond
