On December 8th, 2020, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police Investigated a two vehicle accident on County Road 2000 E approx, % mile north Ot 1400 N. A vehicle driven by Michael A- Hoekstra, age 22, of Sheldon was traveling south on 2000 E when it lost a wooden pallet with cardboard boxes. A vehicle driven by Carey M. Barfield, age 441 of Buckley was traveling north on 2000 E and struck the patEet right after it entered her lane from the other vehicle, Barfield's vehicle had over $1500 in damage. Minor injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
On December 9th, 2020, Iroquois County Sheriff$ Police investigated a car vs. deer accident on County Road 3400 N at 700 E Rd. A vehicle driven by Andrea G, Marquez, age 231 of Ashkum was traveling east on 3400 N when a deer ran into the roadway. Marquez was unable to avoid the deer, striking it and causing over $1500 in damage. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued,
On December 9tn, 2020, Milford Police arrested Johnathan D, Britton, age 28, of Chicago. Milford Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Britton which initially stopped but then took off at a high rate of speed, Milford Police pursued the vehicle at a high rate of speed when the vehicle attempted to turn and went into the northwest ditch at the St Rt 1 and 1400 N Rd intersection, Britton was charged with Agg. Fleeing and Eluding, Driving While License Revoked, and Speeding 120mph in a 55mph zone. Britton was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in custody. The Milford Police Department was assisted by Iroquois County Sheriffs Police.
On December 1 0th, 2020, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Brittany N. EaJy, age 29, of Sheldon. A traffic stop was conducted on Rt. 45 just south of Buckley on a vehicle reported stolen in Arizona. Ealy was found to be the driver and was placed under arrest Ealy was charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Speeding and was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where she remains in custody.
On December 10th, 2020, Clifton Police arrested Anthony L, Fisk, age 40i Of Ashkum. Clifton Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that would not stop and led to a short pursuit, Fisk was found to be the driver and was charged with Agg. Fleeing and Eluding, Driving While License Suspended, and Disobeying Traffic Control Devices. Fisk was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he posted the required bond.
