Iroquois County Sheriff's Police 11/20/2020

On November 18th, 2020, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a car vs. deer accident on Co. Rd 2900 N, near 1800 E. According to police reports, a vehicle driven by Paul A Carpenter, age 51, of Watseka was traveling east on 2900 N, when a deer entered the roadway, Carpenter was unable to avoid the deer and struck it causing over $1500 in damage. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

 

On November 18th, 2020, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police with the assistance of US Marshalls, arrested Samuel J, Hines, age 23, of Chebanse. According to police reports, Hines was wanted on two outstanding Kankakee County warrants charging him with Possession of Methamphetamines and Reckless Driving. Hines was transported to Iroquois County Jail and was later tumed over to Kankakee County.

 

 
   


On November 18th, 2020, Iroquois County Sheriff$ Police arrested Timothy R. Andersoni age 32, of Watseka, According to police reports, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for driving over 100 miles an hour in a 55mph zone, Anderson was found to be the driver Of the vehicle- Anderson was charged with driving more than 35mph over the posted speed limit and driving with a suspended driver's license. Anderson was also wanted on a Livingston County warrant charging him with failure to appear on no registration and a Kankakee County warrant charging him with failure to appear on a DUI. Anderson was transported to Iroquois County Jail and posted the required bond.
