NEWTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE 

The suspect in yesterday’s carjacking is, 61 year old Victor Edward Cihonski Jr of South Bend, IN.

Cihonski is currently being held at the Lake County Jail in connection with armed robberies that occurred in Cedar Lake and Lowell, IN.

Newton County Sheriff’s Office has placed a hold on Cihonski for several felony charges related to the carjacking.
