Iroqouis County Sheriff's Police March 3&4, 2018

News Release March 3rd, 2018 
 
On February 28th, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Tyler L. Dixon, age 34, of Gilman, IL. According to police reports, Dixon was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging him with driving while license revoked, fleeing and eluding, and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond. 
On February 28th, 2018, Terrance J. Morris, age 25, of Danville, IL. turned himself in to start his 2 year sentence in Department of Corre.;;tions for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. On March 1st, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriff's Police arrested Tyler L. Dixon, age 34, of Gilman, IL. According to police reports, Dixon was charged with violation of order of protection. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond. On March 161, 2018, Onarga PD arrested Julian Munoz, age 29, of Onarga, IL. According to police reports, Munoz was wanted on an outstanding Ford County warrant He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond, 
On March 2nd, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Tyler J. Bruens, age 22, of Watseka, IL.. According to police reports Bruens was wanted on an outstanding Benton County, IN. warrant for being a fugitive from justice. Bruens was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond. 
On March 2nd, 2018, Dale Griffin, age 53, of Ashkum, IL. turned himself into the Iroquois County Jail to start serving his 15 weekends sentence at the Iroquois County Jail for driving under the influence.

On March 3rd, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 3000 N. just west of 1600 E. According to police reports, a vehicle driven by a 16 year old juvenile, was traveling east on Co. Rd. 3000 N. when the vehicle went off the roadway in the south ditch and overcorrected crossing back over the roadway. The vehicle then entered the north ditch and struck the embankment causing the vehicle to overturn coming to rest on the vehicle's roof. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued. 
On March 3rd, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriff's Police returned from the Champaign County Jail with Steve Martin, age 48, of Champaign, IL. According to police reports, Martin was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County warrant charging him with failure to appear for driving while license is revoked. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond.
