Gloria J. Fritch, 79, of Wellington passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Heritage Health in Hoopeston. She was born on June 25, 1946 in Watseka, a daughter of William and Helen (Schuff) Henry. She married Lewis J. Fritch Sr. on October 10, 1964 in Milford and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2019 in addition to her parents and one brother, Patrick Henry.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela (Pete) Ellsworth of Clinton and Cynthia (Pete) Neal of Hoopeston; one son, Lewis “Jim” (Jeannie) Fritch Jr. of Milford; one sister, Judith (John) Sheridan of Milford; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

 

Gloria owned and operated The Coffee Corner in Wellington for over 35 years.

 

A graveside service for both Lewis and Gloria will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 8, 2026 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford with an intimate dinner following.

 

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

 

Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.
