Lonnie V. Zirkle, 58, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at his home. He was born on April 29, 1968 in Chicago, the son of Donald and Sandra (Wood) Zirkle. They preceded him in passing along with one sister.

 

He is survived by one sister, Janalee Files of Watseka and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Lonnie was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He always had to wear his cologne and loved rock music. Lonnie was known to have such a big heart.

 

Memorial visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am. Joe Hughes will officiate.

 

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

 

Cremation rites are being handled by Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
