Marva Dawn Stauffer, 70, of Onarga passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at her home in Onarga. She was born on January 2, 1956 in Normal, the daughter of Mervin and LaVeta (Oesch) Stauffer.
Surviving are one sister, LaVon Legan of Schaumburg, IL; two brothers, Trent Stauffer of Gilman and Kent (Tami) Stauffer of Gilman; her son at heart, Kevin (Tyler) Kemarly of Bozman, MT and their daughter, Winnie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; one brother in law, Tom; and special friend, Patricia Kemarly.
Marva attended the United Methodist Church Melvin and enjoyed helping with children’s activities there. She loved crafting, antiquing, and watching game shows with her cat, Shadow. Marva cherished her time with her dear friends, Kim, Angie, and Diane.
A celebration of life service will be on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the United Methodist Church Melvin. There will be a one hour memorial visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm.
Cremation rites are being handled by Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.
