Robert “Bob” Lee Landrey, 80, of Watseka passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at the Iroquois Resident Home in Watseka. He was born on January 23, 1945 in Rensselaer, Indiana, a son of Raymond and Lucille (Dubea) Landrey. He married Gale June Otto on June 5, 1982 in Watseka and she preceded him in death on May 24, 2024.
Bob is survived by his children, Judith (Jim) Landrey-Smith of Mendota, Dwayne L. (Kelly) Landrey of Danville, IN, Mark L. (Vicki) Garfield of Watseka, and Kristen (Peter) Garfield-Gentile of Plainfield; eight grandchildren, Timothy Schultz, Kyle (Samantha) Schultz, Katelin (Kyle) Garfield-Clapp, Ashten (Colton) Gentile-Jensen, Breckin Gentile, Caden Curtis, Ava Curtis and Canaan Curtis; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Holliman and Rose Davenport.
Besides his wife, Bob was preceded in death by both of his parents, three brothers, Leonard, Ronald, and Alfred; two sisters, Betty and Maxine; and one daughter, Jennifer Landrey-Curtis.
Bob was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. He was a supervisor at UARCO for 28 years. Bob loved to watch sports, especially the Chicago White Sox. He enjoyed time spent with his family and going to their sporting events. Most of all, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy.
The family would like to recognize his lifelong friends, Joel Nasers and Louis Simmons.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka with Pastor Aaron Uphoff officiating with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be at a later date.
Memorials may be given to a Custodial Account at First Trust and Savings Bank in Watseka for the care of Bob’s grandchildren.
