Jessica L. Paro, 34, of Watseka passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on February 17, 1991 in Watseka, the daughter of Larry and Tammy (Waters) Paro and they survive in Watseka.
Also surviving are her husband, Jon Wielert of Watseka; three children, Aiden, Ian, and Raelynn Wielert all of Watseka; three siblings, Michael Paro of Watseka, Benjamin Paro of Hoopeston, and Travis Paro of Texas; uncles and aunts, John Paro, Randall Paro, Tim (Carla) Waters, Tod Waters, Tara (Josh) Rader, and Travis (Felice) Waters; mother-in-law, Patty Wielert; grandmother, Bonnie Paro; sister-in-law, Valorie (Lance) Kimbrell of Mississippi; many cousins; and many nieces and nephews.
Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Larry and Sherry Waters; paternal grandfather, John Paro; father-in-law, Michael Wielert; cousin, Shelby Vanderwal; and brother-in-law, Billy Wielert.
Jessica enjoyed being around her friends and family. She loved gardening and taking care of animals as well as others. Jessica had a joy for living the farm life and loved the time spent working on the farm.
A Celebration of Life get together will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Watseka Elks Club. Family time will be from 3:00-5:00 pm with a time for friends to follow starting at 5:00 pm.
