Brenda A. St. Peter, 81, of Watseka passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth. She was born on August 28, 1944 in Watseka, a daughter of Edwin and Lorriane (Doeden) Goldenstein and they preceded her in death. Brenda married Dale E. St. Peter on March 6, 1965 in Danforth and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2006.
Brenda is survived by one son, James (Jenifer) St. Peter of Gilman; one daughter, Julie St. Peter of Mahomet; three grandchildren, Logan (Jordan) St. Peter of Gilman, Nathan (Rachel) St. Peter of Lincoln, Emily St. Peter (Fiancé, Tibaldo Alvarez) of Champaign; one great-grandson, Oliver St. Peter; and one sister, Sharon Borchers of Gilman.
Brenda was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Milford. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Church in Watseka. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Tammen officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.
