Yvonne K. Rohr, 88, of Chebanse passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Westwood (Butterfield) Assisted Living in Kankakee. She was born on February 25, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Homer L. and Virginia (Crawford) Robinson. They preceded her in death along with one son, Randy W. Anderson.

 

Yvonne married Kenneth R. Rohr on October 31, 1981 in Chebanse and he survives.

 

Also surviving are three daughters and one son, Sandy and Jim Rohr of Chebanse, Cindy (Doug) Seibring of Okahumpka, Florida, and Dana (Ed) Rashinskas of Clermont, Florida; twelve grandchildren, Nic (Tracy) Rohr, Bonnie (Scott) Lewis, Sindy (Tim) McCormick, Ryan (Emily) Seibring, Sarah (Josh) Frank, Cheri (Ricardo) Arreola, Vicki Anderson, Michelle (Brian) Zirkle, Abby (Rawson) Henbree, Melissa (Lewis) Eldred, Alisa Rashinskas, and Jared Rashinskas; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Bonnie Bergeron.

 

Yvonne worked as a bookkeeper for the family rental business and helped her husband with financial reporting for Ken’s Truck Repair, Inc. Yvonne enjoyed her family and friends. She loved to travel, golf, paint, and video gaming. Yvonne was a past member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Kankakee Country Club.

 

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
