Rosalia Rodriguez Soto, 68, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 4, 1957 in Veracruz, Mexico, a daughter of Moises and Isabel (Soto) Rodriguez and they preceded her in death along with one brother and one sister.

 

Rosalia married Hermilo Rodriguez in Kankakee and he survives.

 

Also surviving are four children, Jose Luis Rodriguez of Kankakee, Yazmin Rodriguez of Watseka, Uriel Rodriguez of Watseka, and Eli Rodriguez of Watseka; one son-in-law, Guillermo Ortiz of Watseka three grandchildren, Eddy Ortiz of Watseka, Brandon Ortiz of Watseka, and Jady Rodriguez; and one great-grandchild, Ezekiel Ortiz of Watseka.

 

Rosalia loved her garden, pets, fishing, and raising chickens.

 

Cremation rites will be handled by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka with no services.
