Nancy A. Hilgendorf, 87, of Donovan passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. She was born on July 4, 1938 in Watseka, a daughter of Fredrick and Louise (Disosway) Fletcher. Nancy married Onnie R. Hilgendorf on July 29, 1956 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2017.
Nancy is survived by two sons, Douglas (Lynn) Hilgendorf of St. Joseph and Craig (Debbie) Hilgendorf of Donovan; one daughter, Julie (Paul) Nourie of Lafayette, Indiana; one son-in-law, James Bruns of Watseka; 10 grandchildren, Joshua (Angi) O’Leary, Micah (Nicole) O’Leary, Heidi (Jeremy) Ellermeier, Marc (Lora) Hilgendorf, Aaron (Jennifer) Hilgendorf, Holli (Joe) Van Hoveln, Leah (Scott) Hulse, Laura (Craig) Carlson, Kaela (Ben) Jaeger, and Anna (Joshua) Jacobs; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by both of her parents; one brother, David Fletcher; and one daughter, Connie Bruns.
Nancy was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, October 23, 2025 all at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka with Rev. Aaron Uphoff officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Dell Cemetery near Iroquois.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.
