Roger Dale Talley, age 67, of Woodville, Alabama, formerly of Watseka passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1958.
Dale is survived by his wife, Lori Talley; son, Logan Talley; brother, Richard (Brenda) Talley; step-children, April Martinez, Crystal Blomlie, and Chuck Blomlie; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Shirley Talley; brother, Mark Talley; and step-daughter, Bobbi Jo Blomlie.
Dale was a dedicated husband and dad and a loving person with a big heart, helping anyone he could. He was a millwright for many years at Incobrasa in Gilman, Illinois. Dale loved guitars and singing Blue Grass Gospel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service was held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Centennial Christian Church in Watseka with Joe Hughes officiating. There will be a luncheon following at the church.
