Denny W. Lowe, 79, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at his residence. He was born on October 8, 1945 in Watseka, a son of Lee and Arlene (Jessie) Lowe. Denny married Marilee Butler on June 6, 1965 and she preceded him in death on October 14, 1996.

 

Denny is survived by two sons, Brian Lowe (Jill Tarro) of Onarga and Brad (Andrea) Lowe of Fishers, Indiana; one sister, Bonnie Riggs of Orlando, Florida; longtime partner, Carla Massey; four grandchildren, Amanda Lowe, Brandon Lowe, Carlee Lowe, and Jackson Lowe; two great-grandchildren, Joplin Acevado and Ozzy Acevado; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Larry Lowe; and son, Michael Lowe.

 

Denny was a member of the Watseka Elks Club, Watseka American Legion Post 23 and the VFW. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam. Denny was a truck driver for Manito Transit in Ashkum.

 

A private graveside service will be at a later date at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka with graveside military rites.
