Gregory G. Behrens, 63, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. He was born on January 28, 1962 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, the son of Gerald and Ruth (Dralle) Behrens. He married Tracey Turk in Watseka on January 28, 2021.

 

Surviving are his wife, Tracey Turk of Watseka; his mother, Ruth Behrens of Watseka; and several cousins.

 

Mr. Behrens was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. He was in the restaurant business, first with Boz Hot Dogs and later with Miss Carols and Greg’s Bar and Grill.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Aaron Uphoff will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.

 

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home, from 9:30-10:30 am.

 

Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Preschool or to the Donor’s Choice.
