Alice Norder, 96, of Crescent City passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. She was born on November 5, 1928 in Watseka, a daughter of Henry and Minnie (Benner) Bohlmann. She married LeRoy J. Norder on May 29, 1948 in Crescent City and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Bohlmann; and one sister, Marian Hurliman.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Lee Norder of Danforth, Steven (Phyllis) Norder of Plainfield and Rodney (Barbara) Norder of Cape Girardeau, MO; one daughter, Judy (Robert) Yergler of Crescent City; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Norder was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Crescent City and enjoyed her family.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Monday, February 10, 2025 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Crescent City. Rev. Joel Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery near Crescent City.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Crescent City, Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth or donor’s choice.
