Ronald M. Bear, 81, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 27, 1943 in Crescent Twp., a son of Wilbur and Faye (Orr) Bear and they preceded him in death in addition to one sister.

 

He married Carol Watts on August 26, 1961 in Watseka and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Laura (P.C.) Wellborn of Watseka and Lisa (David) Janssen of Westpoint, TN; two sons, Ronald L. (Laura) Bear of Decatur and Jeffrey Bear of Watseka; one sister, Myrna Mack of Danville; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

 

He was a truck driver specialist at Grace Trucking.

 

Cremation rites will be accorded by the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka and services will not be held at this time.

 

Memorials may be made to the family’s wishes.
