Richard Donald Crow, 81, of Milford passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on December 14, 1943 in Watseka, the son of Arthur F. and Helen (Hawthorne) Crow Jr. and they preceded him in death in addition to two brothers, Lester and David Crow; and one son, Ricky.
He is survived by one brother, Charles (Sharon) Crow of Danville; two grandsons, Michael (Sarah) Crow and Josh Crow all of Hopkinsville, KY; three great-grandchildren, Braxton, Presley and Maddox Crow; and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Milford High School in 1961. After attending Bradley University in Peoria, he served with the United States Air Force for four years, including time in Vietnam. He was employed by Crow’s Hybrid Corn Company in Milford.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Brent Zastrow will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford.
