Donna L. Wasmer, 88, of Watseka passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Heritage Woods of Watseka. She was born on December 3, 1936 in Sheldon, a daughter of J.L. and Leola (Bear) Malany. She married Kermit W. Wasmer on January 20, 1957 at the First Christian Church in Watseka and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2024. She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Karen.

 

She is survived by one son, Kevin Wasmer of Darien.

 

Donna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Watseka. She was a secretary at the USDA office.

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Graveside service at Iroquois Memorial Park will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor John Franklin officiating.

 

Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church in Watseka.
