Joy’s family was the heart of everything she did. She was happiest when surrounding herself with her grandchildren. Her kitchen was the center of countless family gatherings she shared not just her food, but her stories and wise words. Music brought her happiness, she always enjoyed sharing songs loved. Her compassion for animals was a reflection of her nurturing spirit. Every gesture, gift, favor or object she touched, she had a way of leaving better than it was found. “Perfection,” was her favorite word. Her spirit, generosity and love will live on in the hearts of her family, where the comfort of her memory continues.
