Cynthia Tooley, 66, of Papineau passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1958 in Watseka, the daughter of Joseph Edward and Marjorie Jean (Corkill) Fordyce and her father preceded her in death.

She married Troy Reed Tooley on October 15, 2004 in Watseka and he survives. Also surviving are her four children, Jeremy Laird of Watseka, Nathan Laird of Watseka, Taryn Tooley of Danville and Jason Tooley of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Debbie Hinrichs of Terre Haute, IN and Julie (Jim) Fredrick of Watseka; her mother, Marjorie Fordyce of Watseka; and three grandchildren, Jerzie Laird, Gannyn Laird and Ella Laird.

Cindy was the unit secretary at the Iroquois Resident Home in Watseka.

Cremation rites will be accorded by the Baier Funeral Home.
