Gail W. Lambert Jr., 82, of Watseka passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 7, 1942 in Sheldon, a son of Gail and Pearl (Heistand) Lambert Sr. He married Sherry J. Hammond on September 19, 1969 in Danville and she preceded him in death on May 18, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; and two sisters.

 

He is survived by two sons, Eric (Suzanne) Lambert of Hoopeston and Chris (Stacy) Lambert of Morocco, IN; two daughters, Kelly Lambert (Terry Patterson) of Effner and Renea (Mark) Coleman of Watseka; one sister, Shirley Prater of Watseka; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

 

Gail served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964 and was a heavy machine operator. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

 

Services will be held at a later date.

 

Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
