Kenneth “Kenny” Bruce Vaughn, 74, of Manteno passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Veterans’ Home at Manteno in Manteno, IL. He was born on December 18, 1949 in Streator, the son of Alfred Vaughn and Louise Edgar.

 

He is survived by one son, Brandon Vaughn of Bloomington, IL; two daughters, Kendra (Rick) Joyal of Minonk, IL and Sara (Matt) Reid of Mt. Juliet, TN; brother, Tim (Lisa) Vaughn of Clifton, IL; one sister, Tammi (Louis) Larson of Kankakee; and six grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in passing by two brothers, Gary (Mike) Vaughn and Weldon Dewey Dotson; father, Alfred Vaughn; stepmother, Mary Vaughn; mother, Louise Edgar-Bosley; and step father, Louis Bosley.

 

Mr. Vaughn served in the United States Navy as a Seabee during Vietnam. Kenny was a member of Disabled American Veterans.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton.

 

Interment and graveside military rites will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.

 

Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
