Russell E. Wienrank, 73, of Crescent City passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at his home. He was born on October 22, 1950 in Watseka, the son of Donald and Annabell (Breeding) Wienrank.

 

Surviving are his father, Don Wienrank of Crescent City; sister in law, Lucy Wienrank of Crescent City; brother in law, Ken Wrede of St. Pete, FL; three nephews, Steve (Jill) Massey of Watseka; Craig (Julie) Massey of Watseka; Darren (Natasha) Wrede of St. Pete, FL; and several great nieces and nephews.

 

Mr. Wienrank was preceded in passing by his mother, Annabell; brother, Larry Wienrank; and sister, Donna Wrede.

 

Russell enjoyed horses and bowling. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Crescent City.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Crescent City. Pastor Joel Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery outside Crescent City.

 

Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral at church on Tuesday, from 9:00-11:00 am.
