Jean Price, 83, of Watseka passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.
Jean was born on November 4, 1940 in rural Watseka, the daughter of Florence (Boomgarden) Lease. She married Ronald Price on November 19, 1960 in Watseka.
She is survived by her husband Ron Price of Watseka; one daughter, Donna Orcutt of Watseka; one son, Steve (Jing) Price of Yorktown, VA; three grandchildren, Karli (Nick) Manahan of Buckley, Erika Orcutt of Woodland, and Eric (Emily) Price of Richmond, VA; four great-grandchildren, Madeline, Kale, Lilly, and Gavin; two sisters, Dorothy Page and Patti Umbel; and one brother, Danny Lease.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chylee Price, two sisters, Rose Slater and Brenda Perry; and her mother and step-father, Florence and James Lease.
Jean was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, crossword and word search puzzles, watching the hummingbirds, and camping at Plato for many years.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Iroquois Memorial Park in Watseka.
Memorials may be made to Shriners International or Prairie States Christian Camp in Watseka.
