Rodney D. Windhorn, 77, of Cissna Park passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was born on July 24, 1946 in Watseka, the son of Marvin and Eunice (Salmon) Windhorn.
He is survived by his father, Marvin Windhorn of Cissna Park; three children, Ronda Black of Arizona, Tara (Glen) Rewerts of Kankakee, and Jarrod (Kelly) Windhorn of Bloomington, IL; two sisters, Jean Rasmus of West Lafayette, IN and Kendra (Dave) Perzee of Watseka; seven grandchildren, Trenton Black, Cullen Haskins, Hope (Kwame) McGee, Gabriel Rewerts, Annahlisa Rewerts, Alexis Windhorn, and Parker Windhorn.
He was preceded in passing by his mother, Eunice Windhorn.
Rodney was a lifelong farmer in the Iroquois County area.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Woodworth. Pastor Aaron Uphoff will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 at church before the service.
The Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park is handling arrangements for the family.
