Linda Lou Thompson, 81, of Watseka passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. She was born on August 15, 1942 in Watseka, a daughter of Walter F. and Lorene L. (Knake) Rieches.

 

Linda is survived by her sister, Mary Salm of Watseka along with several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wayne Rieches; one sister, Carolyn Reed; and two great nephews, Josiah Rieches and Jeffrey M. Reed.

 

Linda was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.

 

Private services were held and burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.

 

Arrangements are by the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.

 

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
