Emeline M. Collins, 96, of Milford passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Valley Hi Nursing Home in Woodstock, IL. She was born on December 19, 1927 in Milford, the daughter of Burr and Lucille (Allen) Allen. She married Willie B. Collins in Milford on July 1, 1950 and he preceded her in passing on April 22, 2018.

 

Surviving are two grandchildren Amy (Marc) Johnson of Dekalb, IL and Mark (Crystal) Collins of Lutz, FL; four great grandchildren, Noah and Evan Johnson and Lucas and Maverick Collins.

 

She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Willie; three brothers, Delbert, Richard, and Denny; one sister, Leona; and three sons, Jonathon, Robert, and Bill.

 

Mrs. Collins was a member of Milford Church of the Nazarene. She loved music, singing, sewing, and crafting. Emeline always enjoyed cats.

 

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland. Graveside services and burial will follow at 11:00 am at Sugar Creek Cemetery. Rev. Tom McCann will officiate.
