Deloris Morgan, 94, of Sheldon passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home.

Deloris was born on December 2, 1929 in Brook, IN, the daughter of Roxy Meadows and Dortha Kenoyer and they preceded her in death.  She married Gene L. Morgan in Brook, IN on April 12, 1953 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2022.  She was also preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Meadows.

She is survived by one daughter, Gloria (Donald) Jording of Buckley; and one granddaughter, Amalia Jording of Jackson, WI.

Deloris was a hairdresser for over 60 years and a farm wife.  She was a member of Darrow Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Pythian Sisters in Kentland, Illinois Farm Bureau, Watseka Legion Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors, Red Hat Society, and Quilt Club.  Deloris enjoyed baking, quilting, gardening, and being an election judge for Sheldon Precinct 1.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral services on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Aaron Burnett will officiate. Burial will follow at Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon.

Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice or Darrow Church of Christ.
